Bundle of correspondence

With Marino Marini (1901-1980), Italian sculptor, painter, draughtsman and printmaker, consisting of four cards from Marini and six copy letters from Strachan to Marini. Strachan was given Marini's contact details by Henry Moore, whose best wishes he passes on to the Italian sculptor; the correspondence primarily relates to the inclusion of Marini's work in Strachan's Towards sculpture (1976); Strachan also refers to a meeting with Claude, the son of French illustrator and sculptor Henri Laurens.
