This series contains correspondence with Walter Strachan relating to Christopher Hewett, including responses to hearing of his death, and letters relating to arrangements for the memorial booklet and Taranman exhibition held in October-November 1984. There are also numerous drafts of pieces Strachan wrote about Hewett, his work and his friendship with Sydney Cockerell; it seems that much of this was intended for inclusion in Strachan's memoirs.
