Series of files primarily concerning osteological material from barrows excavated by other individuals around the country. Many of these appear in British barrows : a record of the examination of sepulchral mounds in various parts of England by William Greenwell (1877) which included description of figures of skulls, general remarks on prehistoric crania and an appendix, by George Rolleston. The papers are all largely handwritten notes on blue foolscap paper describing the barrow and its contents.
