Scope and Content

History of the society, formed in the 1974 of those who had trained with Charnley, and intended to promote and advance the principles of joint replacement. It includes information on the origins of the society, a list of members, photographs, and abstracts of the papers given.

Also included is a programme for the Charnley Low Friction Society 6th Scientific Meeting, Chester, April 1989.
