EXAMINATION AND DEPOSITION: Removal of Ellen Hughes aged 59 years from pa. Pentraeth to pa. Liverpool, in Co. Lancashire.

The examinant stated that in 1832 she and her six children had been removed from pa. Pentraeth to Liverpool where her late husband Hugh Hughes had legal settlement. Mr. Black, the Overseer of the poor for Liverpool agreed to pay her relief of 5/-weekly and allow her to return to pa. Pentraeth.She received relief from Liverpool for ten or eleven years while residing in pa. Pentraeth.When this relief was discontinued she returned to Liverpool and relief of 1/6 was restored. About two or three years ago the relief stopped and she had since then been relieved by pa. Pentraeth.
