The examinant stated that neither he nor his father had gained settlement in his own right and that he claimed settlement in pa. Llanfechell through his grandfather who owned, resided and died at Tyddyn Focin.The examinant statement said that he was sixty-six years of age and the son of William Williams, a miner at Parys Mountain and his wife Mary. He lived with his parents at Tynylon in pa. Llechgwynfarwydd [Llechcynfarwy].
His parents died within a week of each other when he was very young, The parish officers of pa. Llanfechell sold his parents` possessions and he and his sister were put out to nurse with Anne Hughes in pa. Llanfechell where he remained for four years. Then he resided with an aunt at Nantanog in pa. Llantrisant for a year after which he was returned to pa. Llanfechell where he resided in different places until he was ten years of age when he left the parish and never returned.
