Notebooks used by Myfanwy Piper during the writing of Death in Venice. The notebooks have been numbered, likely by Rosamund Strode, in what is most likely to be chronlogical order.

The contents of these notebooks are for the majority libretto drafts and material for the opera, including a cast list and to-do lists.
