Speakers' panel

Scope and Content

Consists of:

- drafts of talks on the Josephine Butler Society, solicitation laws, and the 'moral problem in its international setting'

- correspondence, majority date from the 1960s, relating to the Association for Moral and Social Hygiene setting up a panel of speakers who were prepared to address organisations on the subject of the Street Offences Act and/or the work of the Association. Contact was made with the following organisations: Six Point Group, the Women's Co-operative Guild, Women's Tuesday Luncheon Club, Central London Fabian Society, Rotary Club of London, Friends Temperance and Moral Welfare Union, London Labour Party, East London Social Workers Group, Young Liberals, Barking Regional College of Technology, National Council of Women of Great Britain, Lowestoft College of Further Education, Whitton Young Conservatives, Sevenoaks School, Hampton Young Conservatives, Twickenham Division Young Conservatives, Leicester Women's Group
