Scope and Content

In 1939 Miss Shephard spoke at the Rural Reconstruction Conference in Indore. A new woman worker, Mrs VT Lakshmi, was appointed in Madras. Miss Shephard focussed on rescue work in New Delhi and the closure of brothels in Bombay
