Scope and Content

Joyce Ansell was a member of Executive Committee of the Association for Moral and Social Hygiene in 1976, and Vice-Chair in 1985. She was a member of the Committee of the International Abolitionist Federation from 1979, and vice-president of the Federation from 1990-1994

Majority of correspondence with Margaret Schwarz, honorary secretary, concerning administrative work of the Josephine Butler Society (eg sending on letters, drafts of minutes and reports, claims for expenses, sending subscriptions to other organisations)
