Scope and Content

Consists of:

- various drafts of the constitution in 1967 and 1968 for consideration by members

- publication of the revised constitution as agreed at the Annual General Meeting on 4 Jul 1968

- discussion documents relating to the principles and policy of the Josephine Butler Society (1960s)

- correspondence concerning the desire to amend the constitution in 1994

- two circular letters: one announcing that at the Annual General Meeting on 5 Jul 1962, 'The Association for Moral and Social Hygiene' shall be called 'The Josephine Butler Society'; the other notifying change of address of the Josephine Butler Society in 1969
