  • ‘Dearest darling’: with illustration of dog; postmarked 11 May 1961 10.30am (1 leaf plus envelope).
  • ‘My darling’: postmarked 11 May 1961 5.30pm (1 leaf plus envelope).
  • ‘Darling’: postmarked 13 May 1961 (1 leaf plus envelope).
  • ‘Sweetheart and all things that go with it’: inscribed ‘Sunday’; postmarked 14 May 1961 (1 leaf plus envelope).
  • ‘Maeve darling’: inscribed ‘Reed Thatch, Monday’; postmarked 15 May 1961 (1 leaf plus envelope).

From Brighton to 1 Drayton Gardens, Chelsea:

  • ‘Dear love’: with illustration of creatures [flying kite?]; postmarked 17 April 1962 (1 leaf plus envelope).
  • ?‘B darling’: with various illustrations; postmarked 19 April 1962 (2 leaves plus envelope).
  • ‘Dearest one’: with illustration of winged creature; postmarked 26 April 1962 (1 leaf plus envelope).

From Northampton to 1 Drayton Gardens, Chelsea:

  • Scrap of paper with message from Mervyn; postmarked 28 Feb 1964 (1 leaf plus envelope).

Undated items [appear to be from 1960s judging by the unsteadiness of Peake's hand] comprising:

  • largely illegible note with illustrations (1 leaf);
  • 'Dear my only one' (1 leaf).

With two envelopes inscribed by Peake; undated. Also includes 10 envelopes in which Maeve kept collections of the letters, inscribed in her hand.
