Scope and Content

Revised draft. A few doodles and rough sketches. Notes on plot development on ff.12-13. At the end of the manuscript there is a note regarding Margery Vosper's decision about Peake's play ['The Wit To Woo'], plus two poems: 'I met him after many years' and 'As I watched between two forests'. Undated.

Doodles include:

  • f.10: line drawing of male head wearing helmet;
  • f.11: line drawing of bird;
  • f.17: face;
  • f.18: appears to be cat with snout of pig;
  • f.24v: head drawn from life;
  • f.27: female nude.

Draft roughly corresponds to published version of Titus Alone, chapters 12-19.
