Scope and Content

This material comprises various miscellaneous letters and circulars sent to Audrey Levick together with some drafts of her replies, all of which relate to her membership of and involvement with the All England Ladies' Lacrosse Association (AELLA).

It includes a letter to Levick from Jean McFarlane, Honorary Secretary of the AELLA in 1936 regarding Levick's Honorary Life Membership; a draft of a letter of encouragement to the editor of the AELLA newsletter with a typescript copy of a letter she wrote for publication in the newsletter in praise of the efforts of the Association to maintain the game during the war, 1946; various letters relating to attendance at Annual General Meetings; letters relating to the publication of the Association's publications; letters, with complimentary tickets, relating to invitations to attend matches; some of her letters also contain mention of her work for the British Schools Exploring Society.
