Star Bill was a BBC radio variety series, originally broadcast between 1952 and 1953. As with its predecessors, Calling All Forces and Forces All Star Bill, the format of the show was similar to a stage Variety bill, featuring a mixture of comedians and musicians. The majority of broadcasts featured Tony Hancock. Terry-Thomas, Geraldine McEwan, Moira Lister and Graham Stark appeared regularly.
Guests included, Jimmy Edwards, Dick Bentley, and Dennis Price. Among the singers and musicians featured were Josef Locke, Stephane Grapelli, Petula Clark Eddie Calvert, and Anne Shelton.
Writers on the series included Eric Sykes, Spike Milligan and Larry Stephens, as well as Ray Galton and Alan Simpson.
