Scope and Content

A collection of documents and photographs relating to Joe Orton; including scripts and drafts of published and unpublished plays and novels, correspondence - largely with his agent, Peggy Ramsey - a diary of a stay in Tangiers, scrapbooks, press cuttings, programmes, photographs, and personal memorabilia of Orton and Kenneth Halliwell.

Also included is the screen play of Alan Bennett's 'Prick up your ears'.Also included is the screen play of Alan Bennett's 'Prick up your ears'.There is also a collection of secondary printed material by and about Orton kept with this collection.
