DIARY: Crown two-day pocket DIARY: Captain George Roberts, Broneirian, Amlwch Port. He was 14 stone 5½ lbs., Height 5ft 5¼, glove size 8 and collar 17. He had an Ingersoll watch. Addresses included: Capt. Eben Griffiths, 19 Kemlyn Road, Anfield; Mrs E. Roberts, Orchard House, Berllan Bach, Bangor; Mr Wm. Parry, 64 Wesley St., Amlwch; Capt. David Roberts, 5 Tanat Drive, Mossley Hill, Liverpool. He notes the birth of a George McConall on 3rd April 1878 at Everton sub-district. Weather is noted; the loss of effects in Steamer White Rose; correspondence; purchases; who visited; that Miss Williams Penlon married on Weds 26th Jan.; Capt. W. Williams of Rose Bank died 27th Jan.; mentions Liz, probably his daughter Lizzie Hannah Roberts born to Hannah Parry on 26th November 1904. The diary is written from home, Birkenhead and at Sea.
