Scope and Content

Static camera at mid distance from stage, filmed from stage right so cannot see dancers when they move to extreme right of stage. Can see choreography fairly well but not detail such as faces or footwork. Set comprises neon lit tubes formed into shapes such as palm trees, bottles, playing cards printed on dices and dollar signs, these are lit in varying pattern. There is also a bar which the dancers climb on top of and several chairs, other props such as leaves, bottles and canes/walking sticks also appear. No music , recording is silent. Lighting includes various coloured lights and spotlights. After 00:26: 12 the lighting becomes darker and it is sometimes difficult to see the dancers. Costumes include 30s style dresses coats and lingerie on the female dancers and 30s style suits coats and knee-high boots on the male dancers. Elaborate stage make up is worn by both male and female dancers.
