Scope and Content

Handheld camera, operator pans and zooms to follow dancers. Not all dancers in shot all of the time. Lower studio, artificial daylight overhead. No set. Dancers wear partial costume – casual rehearsal clothing with additions such as one female dancer in blond wig and several dancers in skirts constructed from wire and white sheets to look like horses. No set, although props such as tables and chains used in performance. Choreography clear as dancers rehearse to recorded music and live spoken narration. Choreographer Christopher Bruce present leading rehearsal and giving notes.
