Scope and Content

Operated camera, pans and zooms to follow dancers. Unknown studio location, possibly America. Incidental vehicle horns outside building suggest this is when the Rambert Dance Company went to Trisha Brown Company in New York to learn work. No music. No costume. Artificial lighting overhead. 4 dancers, 3 female, 1 male. Full run through from start of recording until approx. 00:11:50. Camera pans to follow dancers. 00:03:09 vehicle horn followed by voice through speaker. 00:04:38 vehicle horn. 00:05:09 vehicle horn followed by a woman’s voice. 00:11:57 cut. Approx. 00:12:00 a woman, possibly one of the Trisha Brown Company dancers, speaks to the rehearsing Rambert dancers. Approx. 00:13:00 – 00:24:21 second full run through. 00:18:00 camera zooms in on dancers then out again. 00:20:37, 00:21:12, 00:23:01 vehicle horn. 00:23:01 camera pans. After the second run though there is clapping then unknown people, probably Trisha Brown dancers, chat with Rambert dancers until end of recording.
