Scope and Content

Static camera from high angle. Can see lighting rig and heads of audience obstructing the top and bottom of the stage set area. Live piano music, pianist appears onstage. Simple stage set. Costumes, dancers wear navy blue unitards with white items of clothing over the top. Can see movement clearly but not details such as dancers faces. 7 dancers. Choreographer Mark Baldwin opens as solo dancer. Lighting changes in time to the changing sections of the dance. The performance ends with the group of dancers in a huddle upstage screen left as a pool of white light closes in on the group. This performance was filmed as a choreographic workshop production. Later the production was brought into the main Company repertory.
