A bundle of notebooks of Edward Parry of Chester (1798-1854), containing two versions of 'Essay containing an historical account of the Flintshire castles', Denbigh Eisteddfod 1828, and 'Traethawd ar undeb Cymru â Lloegr a'r lles a ddilynodd', Trelawnyd Eisteddfod 1829. Both essays were subsequently printed, as Historical researches on the Flintshire castles (Chester, 1830), and Traethawd buddugol ar undeb Cymru â Lloegr, a'r lles a ddilynodd (Caerleon, 1837).
