Report of meeting of Finance and General Committee of MRI, 4 Sep 1854; discuss MMS's exemptions from rates, the Overseer has advised getting a certificate of exemption; meeting resolved that incorporation of the MMS could now proceed. Also report of meeting of Council, 6 September 1854 approving arrangements for the Amalgamation.
