Scope and Content

Dated 14 May 1605, 18 Oct 1605, 18 Jul 1606, 27 Apr 1612 and 13 May 1618, from the Exchequer (signed by Earls of Dorset and Suffolk and Sir Julius Caesar, lords of the Treasury) to the Customs Officers of London and other ports, that the Duke of Holstein be allowed to ship £6000 worth of goods (bullion and plate excepted) to his own country from England duty free. Goods transported include, white and coloured cloths, leather, iron ordnance, beer, tin and lead.
