Has revised the petition sent by Ramsden to Mr. Cholmley; 2 petitions, one from the gentlemen and merchants and one from the landowners, have been drawn up against the New Canal. The first, against abuses of the Undertakers, to be presented to Parliament first. Tactics for making these petitions effective. Now sent to Mr. Frank of Campsall. Compliments to Lady Ramsden and family at Byram.
