[They are pictured on a track near Llangelynin (Old Church). Summers were often spent at this higher altitude (1,000ft above sea level) in an attempt to improve Mrs. Davies's health as she suffered from T.B. Their daughter Lydia also suffered from the same illness and died whilst still a teenager.
