Scope and Content

Handheld camera. Not continuous footage, edited together. Education project - the 'Pulcinella Project' is a collaboration between Ballet Rambert and Opera North in which 30 6th form students from schools around Leeds worked with Sarah Rudridge (Education Officer, Rambert Dance Company) and Jack Glover (Composer and Musician) to create a work inspired by 'Pulcinella'. The series of 5 videos were commissioned by Yorkshire Arts Association: Exploring Processes in Dance. 00:00:00 rehearsal of music by young people. 00:25:09 unidentified male speaks to young people about the story of 'Pulcinella' and the composter Igor Stravinsky. Unidentified female also sings while the male plays piano. 00:48:50 the young people create movements for this music.
