Scope and Content

Miscellaneous Spanish autographs, 19th-20th century, of Joseph Blanco White (1), Jos de Diego(1), Jean Royre (1), Gabriela Mistral (1), and the Duc de Villahermosa (1).

Administrative / Biographical History

The collection includes autographs of Joseph Blanco White (1775-1841), poet; Francisco Brines (b. 1932), poet; Jos de Diego (fl 20th century); Jean Royre (fl 20th century); Gabriela Mistral (1889-1957), Chilean poet, educator and diplomat; and Jos-Antonio de Aragn-Azlor y Pignatelli, Duc de Villahermosa (1785-1852).

Arrangement

The manuscripts are arranged alphabetically by author, except where the subject is deemed to be more important.
