Originally purchased on 5 Sep. 1896 by Ray Gershon, Joseph Gershon and Edmund Ashworth mortgage of freehold plot of a land containing 887 sq yds with 10 dwelling houses, numbered 6, 8, 10, 12, 14, 16, 18, 20, 22 and 24 Cliff Street, Higher Broughton, Salford, Lancashire. Secured with payment of £600 in freehold land with interest. Eliza Emily Sidebotham paid to Mrs Ray Gershon 25 Mar. 1906, £600 with interest and thereon after that a rate of £4.10s per centum per annum.
