Administrative / Biographical History

Gwent Record Office has accumulated a large collection of maps and plans relating mainly to Monmouthshire, usually as part of other collections. These include maps from an 1821 survey of the Barony of Abergavenny compiled by David Davies, mid 19th century tithe maps, Petty Sessional Division licensing plans (up to 1962) and maps from National Coal Board reports.
