Scope and Content

LETTER: Amy Robinson, 14 Butterfiled Crescent, Rathfarnham, Dublin 14 to rev. H. Ll. Williams thanking him for his letter. She remembers quite a lot of the old Welsh church members. Quite a lot of people returned to Wales when the Welsh Church closed dow. She will send the History of the Welsh Church to H. Ll. W. when she gets it from Mr. Blythe. The talk was given by Mr. Blythe to the Old Dublin Society in 1951. Amy Robinson's father came from a farm near Owestry to Dublin when he was 24 years old to manage the butchery business. He was a faithful member of the church until it closed down. She describes her five mile trips to church sitting in a basket in front of her father's bicycle. She will try to get a photograph of theold church to send to H. Ll. W.
