Scope and Content

The first is a general letter to Larkin who was in hospital at the time (he had recently collapsed during a library meeting); the second congratulates Larkin on receiving the Queen's Gold Medal for poetry; and also discusses about selling manuscripts and letters, with particular reference to Dylan Thomas and the British Museum.
