Scope and Content

File of papers concerning 'Youth and Music', an organisation founded in London in 1954 by Robert Mayer, after the model of the continental Jeunesses Musicales, to which it was affiliated.

The papers include correspondence between Gishford and Mayer, progress report 1961, programmes for the 1962-1963 and 1963-1964 seasons, chairman's report 1963 and financial estimates 1964-1965.
