Publicity Leaflet

Scope and Content

This leaflet contains the only information in the archive on the 1986 workshops. Seven plays were workshopped over two weeks, including Charlotte Keatley's My Mother Said, which went on to enjoy worldwide success. The 1986 workshops were presented as a "Festival of New Writing for the Theatre" and included late night shows of other works, including a professional production of Bill Hopkinson's Song of Olwen which had been workshopped in 1984. Details of each play are given, including, for the first time, the names of the directors and dramaturgs involved.
