From Bristol to [Walter] Churchey in Hay, [Herefordshire]. He wishes Churchey's book every success.

If the Wesleys return to Wales they will contrive to spend a few days with Churchey but Charles cannot look beyond another Winter.

The earthquake summoned to Charles's mind those lines of [Edward] Young beginning 'the earth is gone'.

Sarah joins in loving greetings.

The Wesleys are moving soon to London. J W is here and is in perfect health.
