From the Foundery, London, to [Sarah Gwynne junior]. He cannot resist writing to his 'beloved friend' despite his weariness after riding almost ninety miles yesterday. If the Lord permits, he will rejoice to see her upon his return to [Brecon or Bristol]. Reference is made to a forthcoming visit to Ireland.
Spiritual matters are discussed.
His love and blessing should be given to [Rebecca Gwynne], [Molly Leyson], [Brother] Williams and the rest of the little flock.
In a postscript he mentions that contrary to his expectations, he has found time to answer [Rebecca's] letter and the enclosed should therefore be given to her.
