John James Bonar, Vice-President, read paper on propagation of Christianity in British India, refuting Abbé Dubois. Subscriptions of theological students to be divided between Scottish Missionary Society (1/3), General Assembly's fund for increasing education and religious instruction (1/3), London Missionary Society (1/6), missions of United Brethren (1/6). No report published this year.
