Administrative / Biographical History

Betty Radin (fl.1970s-fl.1990s) wrote concrete, or visual poetry since the 1960s. She lived and worked in London and used various media including graphics, collage, photomontage, photocopying , slideshow, computer works, perspex and mirrored objects. She was exhibited in the UK since 1969 and internationally published and exhibited since 1972. Concrete or visual, poetry has its origins in literature and art form cave drawings and hieroglyphics to early Latin, Greek and Hebrew texts to medieval word pictures and calligraphy.
