In 1880, the coastguard, Thomas John Thomas operated along the north Wales coast around Nefyn, Porth Dinllaen, Porth Golmon and Aberdaron, patrolling, visiting wrecks, keeping reports, issuing certificates and attending to other office duties.
This item is incorporated into the General Collection of Bangor Manuscripts .
