Scope and Content

Signed by Lieutenant Colonel Sir Robert Fletcher, dated at Monghyr. The return is divided into Artillery, Black Cavalry, infantry and sepoy battalions and includes a list of desertions, absences and other changes in the sepoys battalions and details of detachments on command included in the return. An endorsement states that the return was enclosed in a letter from Fletcher dated 3 March 1766.
