Scope and Content

The improvements are predicated upon the use of the Parkinsonia plant rather than the gram plant, Lord Clive (presumably Edward, but possibly Robert) being credited as the first person to cultivate the former in India. The memorandum arose from experiments conducted on 14 April 1809. There is no indication of the author.
