"Lord Clive's Speech in the House of Commons, 30 March 1772, on the Motion made for leave to bring in a Bill, for the better Regulations of the Affairs of the East India Company and of their Servants in India and for the due Administration of Justice in Bengal".

Scope and Content

A manuscript note on the cover states that this printed speech was previously bound with other documents between 1776 and 1778, including a history of the Company, a defence of Lord Pigot and lists of petitions and other documents respecting the Supreme Court of Justice in Bengal, however these are no longer attached.
