Results of fractional gastric analyses carried out on individual patients by the Laboratory for Clinical Investigations and Research. For each patient their name, physician, ward, and age are given along with the date of the test and often a diagnosis. Results are plotted on a graph displaying free acidity, total acidity, and total chlorides and there is also data on levels of starch, blood, bile, mucus, pus, and pepsin. The results are organised in separate files according to patient number, which are given by a letter and a sequential number. These letters refer to a specific condition.
