Correspondence between Wilkinson and Sir Arthur Frederick Hurst (1879-1944) of New Lodge Clinic, Windsor Forest, Berkshire. In 1933 they discuss a case referred to by Wilkinson in his article Wilkinson, J.F., 'The Gastric Secretion in Pernicious Anaemia', The Quarterly Journal of Medicine, 1932, 1(3), pp.361-386, as well as the different types of stomach preparation they use. The following year they discuss Wilkinson's article Wilkinson, J.F., 'Pernicious Anaemia and Malignant Disease', Acta Medica Scandinavica, 1933, 80(4-6), pp.466-479, as well as likelihood of the development of carcinoma of the stomach if underlying gastritis is not treated, and their current cases and links to cancer.
