Correspondence between Wilkinson and Dr C. Peter Chivers, the works doctor at Imperial Chemical Industries Limited, Runcorn, Cheshire. Chivers contacts Wilkinson to get more information from him regarding the early use of nitrogen mustards in cancer treatment stemming from Wilkinson's work with the toxic gas factories during World War Two for an article he is writing, which Wilkinson readily provides. Chivers also sends Wilkinson a copy of a letter from Dr E.W. Gill of the University Department of Pharmacology, Oxford who expresses his ignorance of any contribution by Wilkinson in the realisation of the potential use of HN2 in the treatment of cancer.
