Scope and Content

Correspondence between Wilkinson and the Medical Research Council, namely Dr F.H.K. Green and Dr Arthur Landsborough Thomson, which focuses predominantly on Wilkinson's queries regarding the efficacy of some commercial preparations of hog's stomach and alterations to be made to Wilkinson's proposed paper in order to make clear what method of preparation has been proven to work without generating levels of distrust amongst the medical community in the treatment as a whole. The paper in question was published as Wilkinson, J.F., 'The Activity of Commercial Preparations of Hog's Stomach', The British Medical Journal, 1932, 1(3711), pp.325-328.

There is also reference to the renewal of the grant to pay for the services of Dr Louis Klein and a two page report on the progress of the research as well as a list of papers published that year.
