Typescript copy of Wilkinson's address to the MMS after his installation as the new President in October 1956 entitled 'What's Bred in the Bone...'. He discusses his experiences treating patients with pernicious anaemia, the development of treatments over his career, life expectancy, the significance of familial achlorhydria, the occurrence and significance of haemopoietin, and bleeding diseases with particular reference to haemophilia and Christmas disease. There is also a copy of a summary of his address.
