Scope and Content

The manuscripts, typescripts, letters and papers cover a wide range of subjects from arbitration proceedings to the question of defederating the University of Wales, 1960-74. Items of special interest include typescripts of the following: (1) Saunders Lewis, 'Y cywyddwyr cyntaf', published in Lln Cymru, VIII; Saunders Lewis, 'Gramadegau'r penceirddiaid'. Darlith Goffa G.J.Williams 1966. [University of Wales Press, 1967]; Saunders Lewis, 'Thomas a Kempis yn Gymraeg, Efrydiau Catholig, IV (1949). (2) Kate Roberts, 'Ffarwel I addysg: comedi mewn tair act', 1932 (not published). (3) Leslie Alcock, Review of An inventory of the ancient monuments in Caernarvonshire, vol.II (1960). (4) Bob Owen 'Bywgraffiadau Cymry Americanaidd' (1960). (5) Typescripts and printed booklets of B.J.Morse's translations of Rilke.
