Scope and Content
Administrative / Biographical History
William Cyril Rogers of Swansea (1912-1995) worked in the Estates Department of Swansea County Borough Council and City Council. Rogers made extensive notes on the history and antiquities of Swansea and South Wales and also collected photographs of Swansea.
Arranged into the following: notes on historical chronology; topographical notes; local history; genealogy and biography (D/D WCR); volume of plans; historical and antiquarian plans; loose plans (D/D WCR/Pl).
