Copy letter from near Colne, Lancashire, re the arrangements for Mr Woods's departure for Newfoundland.

Coke has interviewed two candidates from Todmorden, Lancashire for the foreign missions, and recommends that one should go north [Newfoundland or Nova Scotia], and the other to the West Indies.

Coke details the manning requirements for the missions in the Virgin Islands, Bermuda, Trinidad, Antigua, St Eustatius, and the Bahamas.

In a postscript Coke asks that something be done for Welsh people living in London.
